Unfortunately....it turns out to be an experience more like this for us pregnant ladies:

Here's a recap of most nights as Austin and I are trying to drift off to sleep-
Me: "Austin....I love you so much but seriously please don't touch me!"
Austin: "Okay, honey"
So then Austin kindly scoots over in the bed.
About 5 seconds pass---
Me: "Further!!"
Austin: "Sigh"
Then I usually hear him scoot so far that I know he's on the very edge of his side of our King size bed. He gives me 90% of the bed and ends up giving 10% for himself :-)
Then about 5 seconds pass--
Austin: "I love you, Kate."
Me: "I love you, too."
Poor husbands have to go through a lotta crap when their wives are pregnant ;-) Good thing my husband is amazing and patient with me.....most of the time :-) To all the husbands of pregnant ladies out there...yes, we recognize you've got a hard job too ;-) But understand....we pregnant ladies go through a lot more and have a WAY harder job to do than you do, so neener neener! We are allowed to be moody and mean as much as we feel the need to! We love you though :-)

haha that is exactly right! its not that we don't love our husbands when we are pregnant, we just need to sleep in our own space :)
Where did you find those hilarious cartoons???!!! So close to the truth, it's SCARY! I remember those days well, and it's been a LONG time since I was pregnant. Husbands of pregnant wives: Remember, this is a TEMPORARY condition. Pregnant wives of weary husbands: You only get so many free passes for being "mean" and "selfish" - so don't use them up all at once!
Hehehehe. I just asked Allen last night... "why have you been sleeping cross ways on the bed?" (Think of Allen's head in one corner and his feet in another corner intersecting the middle of the bed with a triangle of space on each side.) "Well, with your 20 body pillows at least I can have my feet by you." Oh. :) Hang in here.
Neener, neener indeed! You crack me up Katie:-) Hope you're still feeling good!
